Are you in Year 10 and aged up to 18 years old? Do you want to pursue a career in science, history or museum work?
Spend one week away from the classroom learning about a specific job or area of museum work. You could help re-box and photograph a collection, make unit trays for specimens, re-pin insects or repair and conserve gallery displays.
We regret that placements are limited and heavily oversubscribed and we cannot involve all students who meet our criteria.
Work Experience Summer 2024
Applications for our Summer 2024 Work Experience programme have now closed and we are no longer considering applications for this summer's placements.
Our next work experience intake will be for Autumn 2024 from 28 October to 8 November. We will open applications at the end of July 2024.
