UK Biodiversity Alliance

The UK Biodiversity Alliance (UKBA) is a new partnership between the Natural History Museum, the Zoological Society of London, and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
As three of the UK’s leading public-facing, science-driven institutions, we are combining our expertise to provide a collective source of evidence to inform policy and practice both in the UK and overseas. This includes supporting urgent delivery of the Paris Agreement and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework in a joined-up way that works for climate, nature and people.
To do so, we are drawing on our collections and scientific knowledge, global networks, and public reach, to lead discourse on the natural world – whether by acting as a neutral convenor across national governments and international forums or by providing tailored materials to equip policymakers to deliver on their commitments.
Ultimately, we want to see decisions on nature being shaped by the best available scientific evidence and advice.
