Policy

Our science informs national and global decision-makers in governments and in businesses to take the best possible actions for the planet.

Working with scientists and partner organisations, our Policy Unit connects world-leading research with those who make and shape decisions about the natural world.

We aim to be a ‘go to’ source of policy-relevant evidence and advice, and use our expertise, networks and convening power to create advocates for the planet at the very highest levels of decision-making.

Using our Biodiversity Intactness Index (BII) to monitor biodiversity change and inform decision-making.
