Genomics and microbial diversity

Scientists in the Division of Genomics and Microbial Diversity are studing the evolution, ecology, and interactions of a wide range of organisms: protists, fungi, algae, diatoms, bacteria, and viruses.

We are using a diverse range of tools such as microscopy, molecular biology, evolutionary and ecological models and genomics-based approaches to study both microbial and non-microbial biological systems.
