Set in Stone is intended primarily to provide information on the Department's many activities. It includes regular reviews of research, collections management and conservation issues. The newsletter also acts as a window into the workings of the Department and as a forum for discussion of topical issues in the wider palaeontological community.
Set in Stone is published quarterly and is available for download. The inaugural issue was published in January 2003.
If you wish to be kept up to date with the activities of the Department of Palaeontology and receive an electronic copy of future Set in Stone issues then contact Dr Norman MacLeod to have your name added to the distribution list.
