Peter Brown (fl.
1758-1799) Peter Brown was a talented eighteenth century artist
who had a passion for the natural world. His artwork
has been much admired and was reproduced in some
major books of the eighteenth century. This collection
of his original drawings of shells provides an excellent
example of the delicacy and detail of his work.
