The lab team has a comprehensive variety of skills, and we are happy to train people in our areas of expertise.
We offer assistance and advice to all staff as well as external enquiries.
Please note that fees apply to all training except for Natural History Museum staff, their students, collaborators and scientific visitors.
Current Training
We are happy to tailor teaching and training to your needs.
We currently run training for:
- undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- individual staff, scientific visitors and students studying at the Museum
Examples of our training include:
- Imperial College Molecular Systematics MSc practicals
- one-to-one training on general techniques and theory to staff and scientific visitors
- in-depth tutoring related to specific specimens on request
- personal service from the Museum Sequencing Facility for internal and external clients
- co-supervision of undergraduates, MSc, MRes, and PhD students who are studying at the Museum
