Tring: Toddler Takeover Day
As part of Kids in Museums Takeover Day, we’re letting toddlers take over our Tring building.
It’s time for toddlers to take over! Join us for this free-flowing, interactive morning where toddlers will learn about all the different and important jobs needed to run a museum.
We’ll have different activities running throughout our galleries. Bring your toddler along to try their hand at:
working with our handling collections, helping us sort and label specimens
cleaning and tidying our galleries so visitors can enjoy the space
being a security guard and making sure specimens are in the right places
designing their own display
You don’t need a ticket for this event, but you can book a free Museum entry ticket in advance.
This event is recommended for ages 1–3 but children of all ages are welcome.
Accessibility information
This event is fully wheelchair accessible.
Guide dogs are welcome at the Museum and at this event. Water for them is available on request.
We can provide you with a wheelchair or folding chair to carry if you email us.
