Tring: Climate Action Support for Education Settings
Join us, the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, National Education Nature Park and Let’s Go Zero for this free event. We’ll provide case studies, activities and collaborative sharing to support your school’s climate action plan.
Do any of these statements sound familiar? It’s not a priority for our school or nursery. It’s not statutory. We don’t have the time or resources. We’re too constrained by getting through the curriculum. We checked the date and we can’t spare a member of teaching staff.
This free Continuing Professional Development (CDP) event will help you to address these. Through case studies, activities and collaborative sharing, we’ll support you in taking the next step in the climate action plan for your school or nursery. The event is based on the hugely successful and well-received events hosted by Waveney Valley , Colchester Zoo and East Norfolk Sixth Form College.
As part of the Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, all education settings should have a climate action plan and a sustainability lead. To learn more, join us along with the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, National Education Nature Park and Let’s Go Zero at our site in Tring, which will be closed to the public for the day. We encourage a representative to attend from your education setting, this can be a member of teaching staff, a governor or someone from estates.
