Join us for a show exploring two groups of fabulous and sometimes fearsome creatures – dinosaurs and sharks.

In each round of this educational show, you’ll meet an iconic dinosaur and a legendary shark. After learning about each, you’ll get to vote for your favourite as you the audience settle the age-old debate of who’s the fiercest? The good old dinosaur or the current ruler of the oceans, the shark.

Accessibility information

  • This event is wheelchair accessible.

  • If you’re unable to wait in queues for long periods, speak to our security staff and they’ll fast track your entry.

  • Seating is available in the event space.

  • The nearest accessible toilet is on the Ground Floor of our East Wing next to the lift. We also have a Changing Places toilet on the Ground Floor of our North Wing.

Visiting information

  • Dinos vs Sharks Show tickets include entry to our exhibition Jurassic Oceans: Monsters of the Deep. You’ll be able to enter the Museum one hour before your showtime.
  • All ages are welcome, but content is recommended for ages 5+.
  • Children need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Dinos vs Sharks Show takes place in the Flett Events Theatre, on Floor 1 of our East Wing. Enter via our East Entrance on Exhibition Road.
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the show, as it’ll begin promptly and we might not be able to let in latecomers. You might have to queue to get into the Museum and our galleries could be busy so factor this in.
  • Bring an electronic or printed copy of your ticket.
  • If you have a members ticket, bring your membership card too.
  • We’re unable to provide refunds or exchanges to latecomers.
  • You may change your booking to an alternative date as long as you inform us at least 30 days before the date of your original booking. Alternative dates are subject to availability and must take place within one year of your original booking. A £10 administration fee will be charged per booking.   • We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the event as required, such as adjusting the locations, timings or activities. This is to ensure we deliver a safe experience for everyone at all times.
