The 2012 competition has closed for entries
We would like to thank everyone who has entered the 2012 competition. Entrants who have their image(s) selected for the final round of judging will be notified and asked to submit their original files (eg RAW) and TIFF files between 3 - 17 April 2012. Winning photographers will be notified mid-May 2012.
The commended images will be published on our website and in BBC Wildlife magazine in September and the winning images are announced in October 2012.
