Jurassic Encounters: Animal Show

We are unable to guarantee that all visitors at the events will have the opportunity to handle the animals.

ZooLab UK have been at the forefront of ensuring all UK animal-related activities are being properly assessed and governed. They have also played a major role in ensuring all animal handling providers are now licensed by their local councils.

All ZooLab UK presenters have animal licenses and live with the animals they work with in their homes, maintaining welfare standards to the highest degree in line with new legislation.

All the animals used by ZooLab UK are captive bred in the UK and allowed to display their natural behaviours at all times. No ZooLab UK animals are altered or tampered with in any way, and ZooLab maintain safety in their shows by providing safe handling practices.

Arrival and entry

Jurassic Encounters will take place in the Flett Events Theatre, which can be found on the first floor of the Red Zone (closest entrance is Exhibition Road). There will be staff members in this area to direct and help you if required.

The Museum is likely to be exceptionally busy this week so please allow extra time to access the museum. Please do bear in mind that you may have to queue for a short while to get in. 

Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time to ensure the event starts promptly.

Jurassic Encounters will take place approximately 45 minutes to complete. When you're finished you're welcome to explore the Museum.

Please remember to bring your membership card to present alongside your member’s ticket.

The event will begin promptly. We are unable to accommodate latecomers joining the event after it has started.

A free ticket for a carer accompanying a guest with a disability can be requested on +44 (0)20 7942 5000, Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 17.00, subject to availability.

Visitors must bring an electronic or printed copy of their ticket. No refunds or exchanges will be given.
