Remarks | This taxon is easily recognized by having the peripetalous fasciole passing through the anterior and posterior petals, causing an obvious disruption in the size of the pore-pairs along the column. Lambert (1920) distinguished two forms, Gualtieria in which the basicoronal interambulacral plates were swollen, forming obvious protruberances surrounding the mouth, and Blaviaster, where such protruberances are absent. |
