Town Park, Jönköping, Sweden
The Ornithological Museum (Fågelmuseet) is housed in a fine brick building dating from 1914. Its collection comprises 1,450 stuffed and mounted Swedish birds, representing 330 species, and 2,500 eggs from 280 species. These include common and less common nesting birds, regular migratory birds, and species that were only occasional visitors to Sweden. The museum building was placed under a preservation order in 1992.
