Species Included Only the type species.
Classification and/or Status Irregularia, Spatangoida, ?Macropneustidae

Monotypic
Remarks Fischer (1966) tentatively placed this genus in the Toxasteridae as only a peripetlous fasciole was recorded.  However, as noted in the original description de Loriol was unable to tell if there were other fascioles from his specimen.  It looks very similar to Trachypatagus, but will remain impossible to place until oral plating is determined.
