Diagnosis	Crown group holasteroid echinoids with: plastron meridosternous, constructed of bilaterally symmetrical and longitudinally elongate labral plate followed by a single sternal plate. Subsequent plates biserial, either opposite or alternate, or uniserial.
Range	Early Cretaceous (Hauterivian) to Recent; worldwide.
