Diagnosis

 Emiratiids with:

  • Ambulacra trigeminate below the ambitus, quadrigeminate to polygeminate above the ambitus.
Range
Middle Jurassic to Upper Cretaceous, Europe, Middle East, India.
Classification and/or Status Calycina, Phymosomatoida, Emiratiidae,
Remarks

The characteristic ambulacral plating, triads beneath the ambitus and four to six elements per plate above separate this clade. Most taxa have biserial pore zones apically, but Tiaromma is unique in retaining uniserial pore zones.
