Diagnostic Features
  • Ovate with faint anterior sulcus
  • Apical disc subcentral; holasterid in structure
  • All five ambulacra subpetaloid aborally, petals extending towards the ambitus
  • Oral surface unknown
  • Aboral tubercles fine and sparse.

Remarks The original description of this genus is in the dissertation of E. Szorenyi, which does not count as a valid publication.  Mortensen (1950, p. 84) in publishing the name and illustration validated the genus.  Without knowledge of the oral plating it is impossible to place this genus beyond Holasteroida.
