Is this a false widow? if so what type?

I found it behind a chest of drawers. I live in Gloucestershire.

It appears to be a steatoda grossa (AKA cupboard spider, and one of the false widow species). They are a native species and widespread. You have probably lived in close proximity to them for years. They can deliver a nip in the event that they face the danger of being squashed in clothing, but this is rare and they are otherwise quite docile.
