Praying Mantis on St Helena

I was recently on an invertebrate conservation project on St Helena in the South Atlantic and found this (these? the youngest one looks rather different)  praying mantis relativley common on the island. Residents on the island were familiar with them and they were widespread and have presumably been there some time, though is presumably an introduced species. The standard natural history guide (Ashmole & Ashmole 2000) make no mention of any species of mantis and I can find no mention of mantis on the island anywhere on the web. I'm trying to complile an on-line resource for the island of the pictures I took of named invertebrates.  Is the mantis identifiable from the photo? Help would be really appreciated.

Roger
