Unknown bugs

Can anyone identify these for me please?

I believe the black bug came in with veg from my allotment (in west london).  The caterpillars were on the underside of a young broccoli plant leaf. I've never seen anythng like this before - all the others were single caterpillars from cabbage whites.

Many thanks

Alfonso

    Re: Unknown bugs

    Hi

the bug looks like the third instar of the Southern Green Stink Bug (Nezara viridula)

    See:http://ediblesanmarcos.wordpress.com/southern-green-stinkbug/

The Green caterpillar looks like it's from the small cabbage white butterfly.

    Regards

The green caterpillar is a Small White butterfly caterpillar. Unfortunately the 'babies' are maggots of a parasitic fly that lays its eggs into the body of the caterpillar. Probably ichneumon fly larvae.

I can't help with the little bug.
