Insect or lavae

Good morning

Can anyone help me identify this. I've never seen anything like it before so I don't know what category it would come under.

I found it crawling up my teeshirt just under my nose this morning. I'm not squeemish, but it was a surprise.

It is about 1 inch long, appears to have a false head and antena on its rear, it has sucker feet at the back like a caterpillar and 6 legs at the front, 2 of which are very short or folded up. I can't see any antenna on the head. It moves very slowly.

Hello Benn5, This appears to be a Lobster Moth caterpillar. They have those elongated front 'legs', very odd looking things. Hope this is of some help.
