Ammonite I,D.


This ammonite was found on the beach at Shanklin I,W many years ago, when i got home from fossiling today i decided to prep it and put it in our collection but I do-not have an I'D so if you know what it is then i would be very greatfull if you would let me know.

    Hi.  I think Tropaeum Bowerbanki is likely.  I originally thought it was a Cheloniceras but it looks different to one of them.






    Did you find it on the beach on near the cliff?  When I go to Shanklin I have no idea where to look so any advise would be appreciated.  Is there a lot of pebbles on the beach at Shanklin which have washed up?
