My father found this flowering in his garden last week (April), in Rutland.
We'd like to know what it is - the nearest I can get is some form of lousewort?
Thanks for any ideas.
I suspect its one of the Corydalis's and I'll plumb for C. cheilanthifolia
Good call - spot-on - thanks - had been bugging me - seemed somewhere between Pedicularis and Corydalis aurea (the only yellow C. I have experience of).
That's great - thanks both.
It's not indigenous so far as I can see, but I guess someone nearby has planted some and the seed has blown in.
It's a nice thing to be flowering so early. I may gather some seed and plant up in my own garden for next year!
