Dinosaur tooth?

Fossilized dinosaur tooth? Please help identify :-).  This was found under cliff beside beach.

    I think it is just a stone.

    It may be related to jasper, which is very variable in colour

    Or it may be just a very fine-grained, probably siliceous, sedimentary rock.

    Difficult to say without proper inspection under a microscope and/or knowing exactly where it came from.

    So if you could be more specific about the location, I might be able to tell you more.
