Any suggestions where I can find Lepidodendron fossils in or near Yorkshire?

Hi.  I was just wondering, where can Lepidodendron fossils be found in or near Yorkshire, appart from shefield?

I think I have only found one of them before (which is in one of my other posts), and I found that in West Yorkshire.

Also I was wondering, why do they never seem to be found in Sandstone?  The possible lepidodendron root which I found came from the Coal (which is just below the sandstone), and the one I bought off the internet, from Sheffield came from the coal.  Is this just a coincidence?

Also, is there any fossil hunting sites in Sheffield which are open to the public?

The picture is the Lepidodendron root from Sheffield, which is almost 4" long.
