Hi.  I found this in Ossett, West Yorkshire, UK and it is Carboniferous in age.  This piece comes from a different layer to most of my other fossils, which is a bit older, so I would say the age is 312 million years old.  It is the only layer where I've ever found this species (but there is a big boulder which is in a forest near to where I live which has this species.)

Any ideas on the species.

Any answers would be appriciated.
