Fossil tooth found at Thorness Bay IOW.

would anyone be able to identify this tooth that I found recently at Thorness Bay IOW please ?  It is 25mm high by 25mm wide. It was found laying on the beach, not in situ. It had blue clay stuck to the root. It is unlike any of the Bothriodon teeth that I have in my collection, so I do not think it is Bothriodon.

Many thanks.  Steve B.
