They look a bit like Sitona (weevils) but it's hard, for me at least, to say. If no-one else has an idea can you take a better photo showing the head region / antennae? Are they in the UK?
Thanks for replying. ...is this one any better? They are all over the outside of the house and I have found they have a crunchy casing as I trod on one!
Well, I'm pretty sure it's a weevil but beyond that I had no idea - the thorax looks very broad and Sitona didn't look quite right. However, using this page -
I thought Strophosoma faber is a possibility, it looks a good match.
