The bone is about 14cm long and is broken on one side. It was found in sand on the beach by a young friend. Could it be a cattle or sheep bone? Any help on identifying this bone would be much appreciated!
This is too fragmented for me to ID it, but I'm guessing it's a radius. It looks like there is a portion on the body of the bone where the ulna was fused. Looks a bit like a sheep radius, but size is always helpful in narrowing down the search. Also, better photos of different sides of the bone flat on a surface would be useful.
