I have -- a large one the April it snowed (several years ago, now). That was the last time. We live in a small village with farm fields all around us.
Yes, I've seen one in my Town garden a few years back.
Yes, I have seen in a fox on our front porch a few years ago in suburban Melbourne, Australia. They were introduced into Australia in the 1860's and have adapted too well!
I once spotted an urban fox crossing at the zebra crossing near Regents park zoo! We have quite a few where we live and they do very well in towns nowadays. As Imperator says, you need to be up very eartly (or very late) to get the best sightings. How about setting up a night surveillance camera?
I live right at the edge of open farmland, so I do get a range of birds and animals around.
I thought I would reply to this because last week was just a bit odd.
We put seeds and old bread out for the birds - every day we get a few pheasants, wood pidgeons, magpies, jackdaws, doves, blackbirds, starlings, greenfinches, yellowhammers, many sparrows, robin, wren ....
They often come at the same time - but last week we had two pheasants and some pidgeons and a fox right next to them all eating the food for the birds!
It was a pity the camera was in the other room!
