The closest I could find are the Eriocraniid micro moths http://ukmoths.org.uk/thumbnail.php?mode=fam&fam=Eriocraniidae
Maybe a worn Eriocrania sparrmannella? I hope a moth expert would help with this.
I agree with Florin's suggestion up to a point,
but the wings themselves seem strangely unworn if wear has removed all the scales from the wing fringes and thorax/head...
Does it have any of the metallic lustre of the moth Florin mentions? -

I note they have no records for Eriocrania sparrmannella since 1961 -

I'm sorry, I was looking the wrong way. It's not a moth at all, but a caddisfly (order Trichoptera). The only British species with such mottled yellow/brown pattern on wings is Philopotamus montanus. See this photo for comparison, but if you do a search you will quickly find many more.
