very diffult to tell from the photos try a look under microscope

Egg shell has little dimbles and a honey coombe structure ?

Cyprus is volcanic so i wold guess 99% volcanic bomb ...,. BUT

possible egg it would be from  mor recent deposits last 5-milion yrs

Cyrpus and all the island where part of the mainland europe before the med flooded full of elephants rhinos birds emus crocs etc... so i t may be from that period ???? however eggs would not be found in with gravel etc. since its a glacial or river sediment is too active (high energy ) and eggs would be destroyed..

what about gas bubbles ? are there any bubble or circular holes in the rock inPoss. dicating volcanic origin ?

            or

could chopit in half ie  n ice clean xsection see if there are any signs of small bones inside ?

the moderator might know more ...

microscope slide  of the rock would give u the material if it was volcanic origin ....

    well ???

    no wiser?

you could take it to Geological museum london or a local uni geo dept ?

my guess is its volcanic bomb

the crust on the outside is typical of them and being cyprus is an active area

the Deposits could be glacial / lahar or even tsunami related so it may have b een deposited along with a mix of other rocks ....Tsnami was created by the explosion of santorini
