An International Symposium:
Diversity among Schistosomes - Perspectives for Control

This International meeting was held at the Department of Parasitology, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, P.R. China, October 16 - October 22, 2000. It was the sixth in a series of annual meetings on the subject and was organised and chaired by Yonglong Li and Andreas Ruppel.

Summaries of the talks given at the meeting are available below and a report of the meeting will appear in Trends in Parasitology in early 2001. A mirror site in China is proposed for this and other related schistosomaisis information.
