Summer in the Courtyard
Host a fun and relaxing summer event in the Darwin Centre Courtyard, one of London's most inspiring venues.
By hiring this space you'll have access to our beautifully-landscaped gardens, stunning glass atrium and 8-storey cocoon, full of interactive displays.
The Darwin Centre and Courtyard are ideal for hosting summer events from May to September for up to 300 guests.
What is included?
Summer in the Courtyard includes:
- hire from 18:00 - 22:00, guest arrival from 19:00
- drinks and canapés from one of our accredited caterers
- PA system and microphone for entertainment and speeches
- furniture in the atrium and deckchairs and cushions in the amphitheatre
- security, cloakroom staff and toilet attendants
- dramatic coloured lighting in the atrium
Upgrade options
For a little extra, enhance your event with:
- barbecue or bowl food menus
- pattern projections on the cocoon
- entertainment from live bands, stilt walkers, magicians and more
- a private viewing of the Extinction: Not the End of the World? exhibition
Prices from £68 + VAT per person, based on an event for 300 guests. Minimum 150 guests. This special rate is available until the end of September 2013.
