Stripy spider in Dorset

Help please. Found this spider on a field near heathland in Dorset and was wandering if anyone knew what it was. It was seen this morning at about 10.30.

it is slightly bigger than an adults thumb nail. It was quite well camoflaged as you can see from the picture with the small stick in it. If anyone can identify it please that would be great. Thank you, Karen
