Puss Moth

When I got to work this morning I looked out of the window and saw this lovely Puss moth sitting on the window sill. It stayed there all day.

Although this species is fairly common I can't remember the last time I saw one. It should be noted that these moths are commercially available to buy in the UK and it's impossible to tell if this is a naturally occurring example or a commercially bred, sold and released one?
