Woody, upright branch from a fruiting tree or shrub against a plain background, with details of three seeds. The branch terminates in four elongated, obovate leaves with serrated margins. The upper sides of the leaves are yellow-green and the undersides are grey-green with yellow veins. The fruit borne on an off-shoot to the right is brown, egg-shaped and hairy, with five green-brown closed follicles and one open to show a pale brown interior. At lower left there is a detail of three wing-shaped seeds. The one on the left is dark brown and seen from the side, the central one is pale brown and the one on the right is dark brown. The drawing is annotated in brown and black ink in what appear to be three different hands.
