The view at top left is entitled "SALVAGES S:36,,[degrees]00' W Distant 6 or 7 Leagues", at top right "SALVAGES S48,,[degrees]50' W Distant 4 Leagues", and in a panel between them "LAT:d - 30,,12N. & LONG:e". The view at the bottom is titled in the main border "ISLAND of TENERIFFE the PEAK bearing N.W. off Shore 4 Leagues - S.ta CRUIZ ROAD, in Lat:d 28[degrees],,30' N. Long:de 16[degrees],,18' W. of Greenwhich.".

- The drawing is inscribed in pencil at bottom left with the number "6", at top right "5", and on the reverse "14".
