Half-length portrait of an Aboriginal woman and child against a plain background, framed in tondo with a black ink border measuring 12.1 cm. in diameter. The woman is depicted in frontal view, wearing a length of fishing line wound around her neck with a fish-hook pendant. The child grips the woman's hair and straddles her left shoulder, with its right foot hooked around her neck. The drawing is annotated in brown ink.
