   Pol. Div. 1 : Peru
   Locality : Tarapoto, in campo frequens.
   Description: Arbor pulcherrima 60-80 vel etiam 100 pedalis, caudice aculsis brevi-conicis oungentibus obsesso. (Flowers in Aug. & Sept. and again in Febr. & March. The seeds ripen in 2 or 3 weeks). Amasisa excelsa, gen. nov. Erythina et Mucuna floribis simiblissum, albi tamen deminutis et legumines dehiscento folliculari continuo distinctum.
