Quote in latter part of introduction. I Very interesting.' Passages have been cut out of pages 15-16 and 17-18, part of p. 24 is marked in blue pencil and there are marginal annotations in lead pencil [in Alfred Russel Wallace's hand] on pages 23 and 32.
