| Description | Sketch Notebook. The notebook has brown embossed leather binding with marbled endpapers and metal clasp. There is a pocket lined in red between the front cover and endpaper. There is a printed label stuck at endpaper "Improved patent Metallic book". Many of the pages are blan but others have sketches of plants or mountains. Some of the sketches are of hills in the Brecon Beacons such as Sugarloaf Mountain and elevations are sometimes given. Other sketches are of plants. Notes include addresses and plant namesThere is a loose printed page giving a list of the Earls of Leicester with their coat of arms. The case has the title "Sketch Notebook" and the number on the spine and front cover.
