DescriptionCursory thoughts on a variety of subjects with ?? pieces in verse. 1 notebook with marbled boards. Pages not printed with lines, but pencil lines drawn in. Handwritten title page wuth addition "those marked thus * have never appeared in print". The majority of the contents of the book are poems, sonnets, comments on various subjects and extracts from other works. At the end of the book there are entries in another hand including G J E 1798, J G, and Herbert Wallace, 1845. There is 1 loose piece of paper with a quotation regarding Father's Day as well. The case has the number and the title "Cursory thoughts: Thomas Vere Wallace" on the spine and front cover.
