| Description | Treeps - Mitten family home. Black & white photograph of family posing for photograph in front of house. The man is either William Mitten or A R Wallace. Mrs Ann Mitten is seated holding a baby (probably Bertie) with her daughter Annie behind her. The other daughters Rose, Flora and Bessie are grouped around. The Wallace's stayed with the Mittens during 1866-1867 and their first child was born there so the year is probably 1867. There is a figure in the top right window, probably either Wallace or Mitten.
