The 'New York Daily Tribune' 12 Nov 1886, headlined 'Wind as a seed carrier' and reporting on papers read at a meeting of the National Academy of Sciences in Boston 11 Nov 1886, including Alfred Russel Wallace's reading of his paper 'The wind as a seed carrier in relation to one of the difficult problems in geographical distribution.'
