Description	Was previously SB/2 This series consists of the Honorary secretary's correspondence with members, and with the Society's overseas representatives in Australasia, North America and elsewhere. A separate item relates to an internal dispute in 1966 between the then Secretary Francis J Griffin and the Committee. In addition there are files of printed papers which relate to society meetings, membership, publications and rules.

AdminHistory	Francis Griffin was Secretary from the foundation until 1947, when he was succeeded by Alexander C Townsend. Griffin returned after Townsend's death in 1964, but was replaced by Alwyne Wheeler in 1966. John C Thackray became Secretary in 1973.
