| Activity | Collector of Geological specimens; most of his material was acquired by the British Museum (Natural History) between 1904 and 1953 and it includes nearly 400 specimens, mostly plants and fishes, from the Culm Measures of North and West Devon, and a small but important series of fish remains from the Pickwell Down Sandstone. He was a Fellow of the Geologial Society from 1919-1929 and again from 1948-1951 |
