| Activity | Cave was made an Honorary Associate of the Museum in 1949 (Museum Notice 20/1949) and was a benefactor of the Museum. One of the Land Rovers used on the Harold Hall Australian expedition was called 'Katie' in his honour. He went on the BM(NH) South West Africa expedition with Mr & Mrs J.D. Macdonald and Mrs B.P. Hall in 1949/50. Before becoming a priest, he had been in the Sudan police force and was the co-author, with J.D. Macdonald, of Birds of the Sudan (1955).
