Activity	Museum Staff: Chubb was employed as an Attendant in 1877 and rose to be Departmental Clerk in 1908. He took charge of the Bird Room for a short time after the retirement of W R Ogilvie Grant. He retired in 1920 but continued to work in the Bird Room and was listed as a 'temporary assistant' in BMNH staff list of October 1923. Obituaries: Ibis 1924, p.780-782 & Auk 1924: 646-647.
